Of urn form with twin handles with acanthus junctions, circular pedestal bade with reeded edge. Engraved with a presentation to the front “Royal Agricultural Society of England, The ‘Kelmscourt Challenge Cup offered through the Oxford Down Sheep Breeders Association, for the best Oxford Down Sheep Exhibit, Presented by The Earl St. Aldwyn as a perpetual challenge.”. Engraved to the reverse with winners 1936 – 2001. Fitted to a later pedestal solce with additional winners.

Height – 42.8 cm / 16.9 inches

Silver weight – 1288 grams / 41.41 ozt

The Earl St. ALdwyn won in 1957 and Viscount Harcourt won in 1974
