Meiji period, 19th Century.

Including a carving of a young maiko carrying a fan and a shamisen, a peasant with a small boy, a pipe smoker, an itinerant musician and a netsuke formed as two Immortals on a rock amidst crashing waves, each with a mark, the maiko with a wood stand, together with a carved Indian necklace and a Chinese puzzle ball and a rattle 12.5cm H.
