Agricultural interest – A George V sterling silver twin handled trophy cup, Sheffield 1921 by Walker & Hall

With rounded base, the top with embossed swags, upon a circular pedestal base with applied twin loop handles. Engraved to front with “Royal Agricultural Society of England, the J.F. Wright (Solihull) Memorial Perpetual Challenge Cup, presented through the National Pig Breeders’ Association for the best group of four large white pigs bred by the exhibitior”. The reverse with engraved dates and winners 1961 – 1986. Fully marked. Together with a later plinth.
