Stitched and embroidered with the bodhisattva seated in an unusual pose, his knees turned to the right, the right hand in abhaya mudra, the left clasping a lotus blossom, wearing a dhoti and lavish jewellery, a celestial ribbon snaking around his arms, the figure surrounded by a double halo, with the incantation om mani padme hum embroidered below, all on a dark blue ground,88 x 150cm.
