A pair of George III sterling silver candlesticks, Sheffield 1785 by John Parsons & Co

The oval form bases with fluted decoration and unusual die stamped decoration of trailing threaded discs, the fluted central column with similar die-stamped decoration, the half-fluted capitals engraved with a contemporaneous initial K in cursive script, each fitted with a removable oval sconce, with same die-stamped edge. Filled. Fully marked to edge and part-marked to sconces. (2)
