A graduated pair of mid-20th century Iraqi unmarked silver and niello condiments, Basra or Omara circa 1960

Comprising a pepper and a salt caster, of ovid form upon tubular base with circular foot. The larger with a scene of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon) to one side and sailing ships to the other, the smaller with a scene of a Mosque and camels, within decorative borders. Screw thread base. (2)
