A COLLECTION OF ALASKAN INUIT WALRUS IVORY CARVINGS, comprising five 20th century animal figures/tupilak, including a hunting whale with Inuit face and harpoon, signed 'Pullock, Nome, Alaska' to the base, together with a large pollock with seal protruding from its body, and three other smaller figures, all having scrimshawed features. Smallest 8.7cm - largest 24.7cm long.
Provenance: All were acquired in the 1960's by the current owner, from Inuit artists, in the Alaskan coastal region near the Bering Sea.
