The rust field with overall ivory and yellow large hooked lozenge lattice containing bold hooked lozenge panels. In rust triangle motif border and charcoal-black outer stripe, approx:12ft.3in. x 5ft.1in.(373cm. x 155cm.) Unusual carpet with well drawn design and very good colours. Bold appearance. It is a tribal piece and appears to be woven on narrow looms with long carpet stripes joined together. The pile has slight localized wear top the top, down to knot collar in places. Ends original with kilim and fringes. Selvages original. Possibly dated, one side edge showing numeric symbols. In general this carpet is in very good usable conditon. Very attractive and good furnishing piece.
