A FINE ANTIQUE TEHERAN RUG, NORTH PERSIA approx: 5ft.11in. x 4ft.3in.(180cm. x 130cm.)This rug has very good colour combination with light blue field. Design is well drawn. The pile is full. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured. Tight weave, approx: 5 x 5 knots per sq.cm. Very attractive and lovely furnishing piece. ca 1910
