A Victorian sterling silver “Teniers” seven bar toast rack, London 1860 by John Samuel Hunt
of shaped rectangular form with a rocaille husk shell rim with S scrolls, ogee shaped bar sections with a central carrying handle formed as intertwined branches. All raised upon four cast scroll feet with junctions formed as Dutch men holding libations, the cast base section with Teniers style housing and foliage. Fully marked to the base, stamped underneath Hunt & Roskell, Late Storr and Mortimer 51C.
