A Victorian sterling silver gilt dessert stand, London 1889 by Hunt & Roskell

Oval form upon four fluted column legs with lion paw feet adjoined by cast pendant swags, all below a border of scrolls with foliage. Fitted with a removable blue glass liner with a star cut base. Fully marked to the rim, and to the obverse engraved HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR & MORTIMER 9749.
