CHINESE HABERDASHERY CABINET, an unusual antique yew wood cabinet, having a single door, and painted with retail advertising text in Thai language text on one side and Chinese the other, and promoting textile-related services/products...Zhuang. The outer frame fitted with metal wirework straps, presumably to allow transport via carry poles/straps.
56cm High x 37cm wide x 30cm deep.
Note: The Zhuang are a Thai-speaking ethnic group, mostly living in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China.
