Various Photographers c.1870s LEBANANON & SYRIA INTEREST, c.1870s. An extraordinary photograph album of images detailing Egypt, its landmarks and peoples, oblong folio, 405mm x 320mm, later fabric covered boards and with original gilt tooled spine, containing albumen prints (49) including panoramas (1), image sizes, 915mm x 188mm, & approx. 280mm x 210mm (48), subjects including; The Port of Aden and it's inhabitants, The Suez Canal and it's Ports, The Nile, Shipping, Cleopatra's Needle in Alexandria, The Karnak Temple, The Sphinx, The Pyramids, Local portraits including Bouriquier & Arabic Families,  merchants of Bethlemhem, Arabic Cafe, Kantara, Buffalo, Assouan Tombeau, Cairo's Grand Bazar, the majority of images signed, titled or numbered in the negative, Photographers include, Maison Bonfils, Pascal Sebah and Zangaki Brothers, full collation and image attribution available upon request
