MAISON KRIEGER, PARIS: A LATE 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD, EBONISED AND MARQUETRY DRESSING MIRROR the scrolling mirror frame with foliate and floral cresting flanked by shaped shelves with mirrored backs to either side of a pair of drawers, the reverse signed 'Mson KRIEGER MEUBLES & TAPISSERIES PARIS',  102cm high x 122cm wide x 30cm deep Maison Krieger were a Parisian firm whose name was associated with excellence in the design and manufacture of furniture and mirrors, particularly in the 18th century style. Antoine Krieger founded the firm with his brother Nicolas in 1826, and by the late 19th century they were exhibiting regularly at the international exhibitions including the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle.
