A VERY FINE ANTIQUE SAROUK PRAYER RUG, WEST PERSIA, approx: 203cm. x 133cm. Very nicely draen design, seldom found with this type. Colours are well balanced. This rug has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvges rebound, very well done. Ends with short fringes, one slightly frying. Very fine weave, approx: 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive piece.
