MS. Two manuscripts, the first being an album, mid-late 19th-century, detailing soldiers of various regiments. 8vo. (Occasional spotting.) Later half calf, spine titled: "Succession of Colonels from 1600". Provenance: Ernest J. Martin (bookplate); Col. M. Cyril Field (ex-libris bookplate); the second album a commercial ledger, c. 1859, with various diary jotting entries including one curious comment: " 8th Sept- Captn Battiey defeated by the 5th Irregulars and 400 prisoners released from jail". 8vo. (Lightly browned.) Contemporary or slightly later, crushed morocco (lacking clasp), spine titled: "Present Prices". (2)
