The base of the well of tapering cylindrical form with wide rim, modelled with a jar sat at the base of one of the tall supports that rises to a small roof, each support set with a pair of moulded dragon heads, covered in a green glaze to the exterior,

A similar model with moulded dragon heads, dated to the Han Dynasty, is in the collection of the Asian Civilisations Museum, acc. no. C-1225.
