Tempera on canvas, seated cross-legged on a large pink lotus blossom, the meditating four-armed manifestation of Buddha holding his principal arms in namaskara mudra, the left hand of the second pair clasping a lotus blossom, his body surrounded by a nimbus, the head with a separate halo, two figures of lamas attending from above, mounted on silk as a hanging scroll, 54.5 x 39.5cm.
Provenance: Property from a Private English Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1970s and 1980s.
