Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the vertical composition portraying Maharana Sangram Singh II (r. 1710 - 1734) standing in front of one of his royal attendants, the halo highlighting his divine power to rule, wearing several strings of pearls around his neck, the attendant listening to the ruler and holding his hands in a honorific gesture, the recto plain, 22cm x 15cm.
