Opaque pigments, pencil and ink on paper, comprising two floral studies, one in grisaille illustrating a naturalistic study of an iris and floral stem, plain verso mounted on an off-white cardboard frame, 9cm x 16cm, 19cm x 26cm including the frame; and a tinted drawing of a rose bush with a butterfly on watermarked paper, pasted onto a green album border highlighted with gold rules, mounted on an off-white cardboard frame with further gold details, 16.5cm x 23.5cm, 22cm x 30cm including the frame.
