Three late 19th century Anglo - Indian silver spoons, Madras circa 1890 by Peter Orr and Sons

Raj period. Each with a Swami pattern terminal and chased decorative stems leading to oval bowls with engraved decoration to front and back, the largest example for Siva, the smaller two for Rama and Narasimha. Each marked to the reverse of bowl ORR incuse, the larger spoon additionally marked to the back of the figure ORR SILVER encameo. Together with another Madras spoon, twisted stem with deity terminal, the reverse of the bowl engraved with a goddess, also engraved ‘No 6’. (4)
