The deep blue field with cloudbands, flaming pearl, bats and Buddhist motifs around central cloudband and pair of stylised birds open medallion. Single dragon and cloudband roundel in an each corner. In an ivory border of dragon-head and sea-wave between key-pattern, pear-seed and plain stripes, approx: 406cm. x 335cm. Beautifully design carpet with well drawn motifs and very good colour combination. This carpet has localized wear mainly on the field. Old reweave in one corner, well blended. Small hole rewoven on the border with localized wear as well. Selvages original, slightly fraying. Ends with short fringes also slightly fraying. The imperfections do reflect in an estimate. In general this carpet is in fair usable condition. Despite the conditon problems this carpet is still a very good looking piece. Attractive.
