A George V sterling silver gilt coconut cup, London 1928 by Carrington and Co
In the Elizabethan 16th century manner. The trumpet base with an egg and dart rim, chased with Tudor roses and strapwork heightened with engraved tendrils, the central section with alternating chased panels of chevrons and horseshoe shapes below a fluted knop. The coconut section held by three open work scroll straps (two pins deficient) leading to an everted rim. Fully marked to base, part-marked to straps and rim.
