A George III sterling silver milk jug, London 1800 by Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart (first reg. 18th Oct 1791)
Of elongated octagonal panelled form with an everted lip with reeded rim and D section handle. The body with bright cut engraved decoration of rosette cartouche and foliate scrolls. Each side with an embossed cartouche engraved with a laurel wreath encircling initials, a T in flourished cursive script and MW in flourished cursive script. Fully marked to side.
