A George III sterling silver helmet cream jug, London 1792 by Peter and Anne Bateman (reg. 2nd May 1791) overstruck by Thomas Ollivant of Manchester

Of helmet form upon a pedestal square base and a reeded rim and loop handle. The body with engraved decoration of pedant swags joining to a shield shape cartouche below floral scrolls with initials EB in flourished cursive script. Fully marked underneath.
