A George III sterling silver fish slice, London 1767 by William Plummer (reg. 8th April 1755)

Double shell and scroll terminal, incised edge, the reverse with an asymmetrical C scroll and rocaille cartouche. A triangle shaped blade with shaped base, with finely pierced decoration of quatrefoils and interlocking straps heightened with engraved foliate scrolls. A chased splayed shell and scrolled junction. Fully marked to blade edge.
