WOOD SCENE, NORTON, CHESHIRE, 1856. Salt print mounted to album page, image size 168 x 222mm, page size 305 x 440mm, together with accompanying title page, printed with title, attribution, Keats poem, and process notes: "Taken by the Calotype process, May 29, 1856, about 11 a.m.; weather, sunny; Exposure twenty-five minutes (usually five), owing to the foliage; developed with Gallic Acid and Silver. / Lens by Abrahams and Co., Liverpool; focal length fifteen inches; diameter three and a quarter inches; Diaphragm half an inch. / Printed on albumenized paper, ten grains of Muriate of Ammonia, Silver sixty grains to ounce, toned with Sel d'Or, by Thomas Davies."
