A VERY FINE PART SILK NAIN CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA, approx: 203cm. x 204cm. Very good example from Nain weaving with very nicely drawn design and very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality, togehter with part silk. Ends and selvages original. Extremely fine weave, approx: 10 x 10 knots per sq. cm. In general this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Very good square size, sought after and seldom found in the sales. Great furnishing piece.
