A 17TH CENTURY ENGLISH EMBROIDERED BAND SAMPLER TOGETHER WITH TWO OTHERS the first signed and dated 'SARAH BAKER 1670', worked in coloured silks against a linen ground, with various stylised floral bands including one of the Tudor rose, over two bands of the alphabet, together with a similar embroidered band sampler, late 17th / 18th century, initialled A. M. and a square sampler depicting Adam and Eve centred by a tree and signed 'Hester Clarck her Work December the 10 1808', on a linen ground, all unframed, 42cm x 22cm, 60cm x 21cm and 23cm x 23cm respectively (3)
