A SAMSON PORCELAIN AND GILT METAL TABLE LAMP,LATE 19TH CENTURY, inspired by the Chinese Qianlong period, depicting a bird with an iron red body and multicoloured and gilded plumage, perched on a pierced rockwork base in mottled aubergine and turquoise, mounted with an oval acanthus-cast rocaille and c-scroll base on corresponding feet, a gilded bronze mounted ribbon intertwined with a reef holding the top of the lamp made in Samson porcelain shaped like a flower, in each petal, there are sprays of red and blue flowers decorated in a Chinese porcelain style.
