Of typical rounded shape, resting on a concave circular base with a gadrooned floral medallion reminiscent of the Iranian silversmith Ja'far's work, the exterior divided into two bands, the largest with dense repoussé figural decoration inspired by Shirazi Achaemenid-revival silver production with characters drawn from the Persian mythical past, Zoroastrian tradition and literary epics, the smallest engraved with oval calligraphic cartouches filled with poetic quatrains referring to the joys of banqueting, drinking and celebrating, alternating with rosette medallions, 12cm diam, weight 124gr.
