A George V sterling silver cake basket, Sheffield 1922 by William Hutton and Son

of scalloped circular form with a beaded rim and a beaded swing handle, all upon a scalloped spreading foot. The body with pierced decoration of slats and lunettes. Fully marked to rim, part-marked to handle, retailers mark for Creswick underneath with 31713.
