An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello milk and sugar, circa 1930 signed Shoodod
The sugar bowl of globular form with an everted scalloped rim raised upon three ball end feet, the milk jug of baluster form. The sugar bowl with a nielloed scene of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), dhow sailing boats, a boatman in gufa, and two fishermen in a mashoof, camels and palm trees. The milk jug with a scene of the Tomb of Ezra, palm trees, dhow sailing boats, boatman in gufa. Each signed to the side. (2)
