A pair of Victorian sterling silver salts, London 1855 by Robert Garrard II (reg. 16th April 1818)
Each of circular form raised upon three stylised paw feet with husk shell and acanthus scroll bracket junctions. The fluted undersides leading to a waisted neck with ovolo rim, engraved to the edge with a crest of out of a ducal coronet an arm brandishing a sabre. Gilt interiors. Each fully marked underneath.
