An early 20th Iraqi silver and niello sugar bowl, Basra or Omara circa 1930
Of globular form with an everted scalloped rim, raised upon three pad feet. The sides nielloed with The Tomb of Ezra, the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), a boatman in a gufa, and dhow sailing boat. Unsigned.
