An Ives' Patent Kromoskop, Stereo Version.
Ives' Patent 3D viewer for viewing specially produced black & white 'Kromograms' in colour. The viewer is of mahogany construction, with plaque THE "KROMOSKOP" IVES'S PATENT The Photochromoscope Syndicate L'd HOLBEIN HOUSE 121 Shaftesbury Av'e LONDON W.C.', Complete with three colour filters which, when combined with stereo positives shot with a Kromoskop camera, gives a full colour stereo image. The the mahogany viewer with brass fittings is in beautiful original condition with fitted original wooden box - it comes with four original and complete Kromogram glass stereo positive views, "Apple Blossom", "Flower Beds in Regents Park", "Hampton Court: Flower Beds and Garden Wall" and "???? in Warwick", stored in maker's box, also included maker's instruction manual and list of available Kromograms dated December 1897, viewer serial no. 324.
