A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver bowl, Madras circa 1890
Raj period. Of hemispherical form with a scalloped rim upon a collet foot. The exterior with embossed decoration in the swami pattern of various Hindu deities within vignettes below a border of half rosettes. Double skinned interior. Together with another small bowl, Poona circa 1920, rounded circular form with embossed decoration in swami pattern style, of deities in oval cartouches between stylised acanthus leaf borders. (2)
