Movement: Signed Amy Melly, Paris, verge mechanism, No.13833
Dial: White, black Roman numerals, black outer minute division, gilt hands
Case: Gold metal chased and embossed, the central oval medallion decorated with a bucolical harvest scene with a tilted basket filled with fruits, a pair of birds perching on a bunch of hay, a dog observing the scene, set within a frame with a bow and vegetal festoons.
Size: 38.5mm
Watch weight: Approx. 53.5g
Accompaniments: Gold interlinked chatelaine with chased plaques decorated with vegetal and floral motifs, and a still-life composition in the largest roundel with a lute and a bowl of fruit, two elongated hooks on the sides, possibly once holding a seal and winding key now missing, size: 115mm
