A George III provincial sterling silver salt, Newcastle circa 1800 by John Langlands II
Of compressed oval form raised on four short cabriole legs with pad feet and shell junctions. Shaped gadrooned rims. Engraved with a crest to the side of a boar’s head erect couped. Marked underneath, no date letter.
