An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello cruet on stand, Basra or Omara circa 1930 signed Abdul Jabbar
Comprising a mustard pot, a salt and a pepper pot, two condiment spoons on a cruet stand with central detachable carrying handle. Each of hexagonal form, the pepper modelled after a minaret with a pull off lid surmounted by a crescent finial. The mustard pot with a hinged lid. Each with various nielloed scenes including Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), the tomb of Ezra, the Abu Hanifa al in Nu'man, Baghdad, mudif, boatmen in gufa, dhow sailing boats, fishermen in mashoof, and camels. The stand upon three short feet. Each piece signed, except spoons.
