A Victorian sterling silver mustard pot, London 1865 by William Evans
Of cylindrical form with a moulded foot, the D-section leading to gently domed lid raised by an openwork scroll thumbpiece. The lid engraved with a vacant cartouche formed of C scrolls with flower heads. Gilt interior fitted with removable blue glass liner with a star cut base. Fully marked to side of handle and part-marked to lid.
