An early 20th century Iraqi silver and niello three-piece cruet, circa 1930 signed Damin
Comprising a mustard pot, a salt, and a pepper pot. The pepper pot modelled after a minaret, this and the mustard and salt of tapering hexagonal form. The mustard pot with niello decoration of the Taq Kasra (Ruins of Ctesiphon), dhow sailing boats, a boatman in gufa, a mudif, the salt additionally with the Tomb of Ezra and the Great Pyramids of Giza, the pepper pot additionally with the Abu Hanifa al in Nu'man, Baghdad. The mustard pot signed to the front Amal'e Damin, the salt and mustard unsigned. (3)
