A GROUP OF EGYPTIAN AMULETS Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C.  Including a schist figure of a squatting baboon, with hands resting on the knees emerging from beneath the fur-cape, wearing a moon disc headdress, 4cm high; a bronze amulet of Bes, wearing a tall feathered headdress, riding a frog, 7.1cm high; and a feldspar baboon amulet, 3cm high, (3) Provenance: Schist baboon: From a French private collection; Ex Bonham's, 4 July 1996, lot 503; Private collection of a lady, Rome.
