The ivory field with very nicely drawn Zelleh-Sultan design of stylised multicoloured flowering vases togehter with delicate floral sprays. In an ivory border of similar design between light blue floral meander stripes. Outer reciprocal and plain stripes, approx; 7ft.3in. x 4ft.5in.(221cm. x 135cm.) Beautiful design and very good colour combination. Apart of very slight wear to the top pile in few small places, barely visible, this rug has good pile, soft wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with very short fringes. Fine weave, approx: 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. in general this rug is in veryy good usable condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
