Opaque pigments, silver and gold on paper, the vertical composition portraying a white-clad Rajput ruler seated under a bright red and orange palanquin looking himself into a mirror held by an attendant standing in front of him, the sitter identified as Raja Sri Sarval Singh Ji in the black ink Devanagari inscription at the top of the portrait, set within black rules, and ochre yellow and bright red borders, accompanied by the old frame's back with the inventory sticker of the Carter Burden Collection, the painting 29.7cm x 24.5cm.
