A George V Art Deco sterling silver teapot, Sheffield 1929 by Mappin and Webb
Of circular form upon a spreading circular foot, the shaped spout opposite an angular ebonised handled pinned to square-section sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable ebonised circular finial. The body with vertical bands of fluting, the underside of lid with bright cut engraved geometric band. Fully marked to side and part-marked to lid.
