Twenty-two small panels decorated in gold and colour lacquer hiramaki-e on a roiro ground, the front with numbers 1,2 and 3, and a kanji characters ‘ho’, the reverse with various traditional musical instruments, in a Nishijin silk brocade wrapper with genji mon, together with an answer slip envelope, each piece 2.7 x 1.4cm, the wrapper 17.5x 6.5cm.
