Carved in low relief with continuous scene, depicting men and women surprised by the sudden appearance of a dragon, the detail of figures and kimono elaborately painted in lacquer and gilt, inscribed in a fan shaped cartouche,’Mukashi hyakumonogatari, Eisen Jyorinsai Masamitsu zo’, with the original lacquer stand, 27cm H.
