A George V 'Arts and Crafts' sterling silver mazer bowl, London 1931 by Omar Ramsden (1873-1939)
Of circular form with a turned maple wood centre, the everted upper rim with an edge of acanthus leaves, all upon a waisted circular foot. The inner edge engraved with a presentation inscription reading “Week-End Aerien Arrival Rallye. 2nd Prize, September 1st 1932 won by Roger Seligman”. Fully marked to the side and underneath, also engraved underneath OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT.
