PROPERTY FROM A PRIVATE LONDON COLLECTION
Iznik, Ottoman Turkey or Damascus, Ottoman Syria, 17th century

Comprising four rectangular border tiles, each painted in cobalt blue, turquoise and green with black outlines on white ground, with scrolling stems of large rosettes and carnations intertwined with tulips and small rosettes peaking out from behind lush green leaves, the longest 26.1cm x 10.2cm.

Provenance: Previously part of a Private Collection based in London and formed between the 1970s and 1980s.
